Paragliding In Nepal

The area for paragliding in Nepal is Pokhara valley, commanding views of the three of the worlds over 8000 m peaks.

Paragliding flying involves a pilot flying with a passenger. Both have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are built for comfort and safety. Once launched you just sit back, relax and take in the epic scenery. You can even take pictures without trouble. Since it is of portable nature and easy to launch characteristics, you can take them anywhere and fly them from most mountains in Nepal.

You can either drive or hike up the hill from Pokhara to Sarangkot, the viewpoint 2000 ft above Fewa Lake. From here, you can see three of the highest mountains in the world, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu, all over 8000 m.

Paragliding (tandem) flights are mostly offered in 3 types.

30 minutes flight:          70 euro
01 hour flight:               100 euro
